There is so much street art in Asheville, you could likely do a tour every day for a week and still not see it all. Krista is a knowledgeable and energetic tour guide and gets to know all the street artists so you get the backstory and a better connection with the artists.South Slope is a new fun area with more to offer than just beer, this walking tour is a great way to discover this area, what it has to offer and learn about some the beautiful art murals.

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging for the entire hour long walk! She explained history behind each mural and the cultural significance of what we were seeing, and she showed us a myriad of different murals in different styles. This experience was fantastic and I recommend everyone traveling to Asheville who is interested in contemporary art take this wonderful tour! 🩷

This was a fabulous tour. The murals were amazing and well-maintained. The colors were so vibrant. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the murals' history and the artists. I took lots of pictures. I would actually go again.

Had a wonderful time on the 1hr walking tour of south slope! Krista’s enthusiasm really showed her love of this community and drew your attention to the artistic details you might otherwise overlook. Especially loved that she’s spoken directly to many of the artists and can pass on their vision. Would highly recommend taking this tour.

December 6, 2025 - My group of four took this walking tour today and loved it. Kristi made it easy to arrange and she and Luis led us through the South Slope neighborhood enjoying and learning about numerous murals and even some local lore and history, ending the tour right outside a lovely donut shop!

The tour is safe for children of all ages.
Small dogs (lap dogs) under 20 pounds are welcome on the bus. Dogs over 20 lbs are allowed on the tour with prior permission, and the dog must have a ticket purchased and will be required to sit in a seat with their owner, not blocking the aisles.
Our tours run rain or shine! However, we will cancel the tour if we deem it unsafe to be out on the roads. If we do cancel, we will let you know at least 1 hour prior to the start time. When booking your reservation, please provide us with a number that you could be reached prior to the start of your tour.
Free parking is available on Foundy Street near the Hands mural.
