Krista Stearns is an Asheville-based entrepreneur with a deep appreciation for the vibrant arts scene and the stunning outdoor beauty that the city offers. As a long-time local, she’s passionate about blending creativity with community and fostering experiences that bring people together.
In 2016, Krista and her family embarked on a transformative journey through South America. One of the most unforgettable moments came during their visit to Bogotá, Colombia, where they participated in the Bogota Graffiti Tour. This immersive experience gave them a unique insight into the city’s history, culture, and the resilience of its people — told through the powerful, colorful language of street art. The tour highlighted how this medium, born out of struggle, has become a symbol of hope, identity, and expression in a country marked by colonialism, civil conflict, and the scars of the drug trade.
Inspired by that experience, Krista returned home with a renewed commitment to share art’s power to connect and heal. After Hurricane Helene she is excited to celebrate the art that remains and invites you to join in this journey, bringing friends and family to experience a creative, authentic, and meaningful cultural exchange right here in Asheville.
