Krista Stearns is a long-time resident and entrepreneur in Asheville and is grateful to live in a city with so much art and amazing outdoor adventures.
In 2016, Stearns and her family traveled throughout South America. One of the highlights was a visit to Colombia’s capital where they experienced the Bogota Graffiti Tour. The tour celebrates the capital city’s history and culture via a visually spectacular medium in the context of a nation ravaged by colonialism, civil war and drug cartel violence
Over the course of two decades in Asheville, Stearns has observed the sleepy mountain town transform into a booming tourist destination. She created Mountain Mural Tours to promote healthy tourism that honors and celebrates local artists who communicate the values and legacy of Asheville through accessible urban street art. She and her husband have teamed up to create an experience that is a great introduction to Asheville art culture and the history of this fascinating city. We are excited to share an authentic and meaningful cultural experience, so bring your friends and family and come paint the town!

Yes, but seating is on a first come first serve basis. Every seat has a window view.

The tour is safe for children of all ages. Children under 4″9 must have an appropriate car seat.
We have a wheelchair lift and can accommodate one wheelchair per tour.
Small dogs (lap dogs) under 20 pounds are welcome on the bus. Dogs over 20 lbs are allowed on the tour with prior permission, and the dog must have a ticket purchased and will be required to sit in a seat with their owner, not blocking the aisles.
Yes, the bus is both heated and air-conditioned and is comfortable every month of the year.
Our tours run rain or shine! However, we will cancel the tour if we deem it unsafe to be out on the roads. If we do cancel, we will let you know at least 1 hour prior to the start time. When booking your reservation, please provide us with a number that you could be reached prior to the start of your tour.
